Chapter 3: Poster Power
The next day, Liam and Maya set up a makeshift art studio on Liam’s garage floor. They gathered big sheets of coloured cardboard, thick markers, and glitter (which Liam secretly thought was too sparkly, but Maya insisted).
They drew pictures of smiling dolphins and a bright yellow sun. Their biggest poster read:
HELP SAVE OUR BEACH! THE GREAT BEACH CLEAN-UP Saturday at 9:00 AM Meet at the big blue sign at Safety Beach. Please bring gloves!
After hours of work, they had ten bright, eye-catching posters. Now came the hard part: getting the grown-ups to agree to hang them up.
They walked around their street, carefully asking neighbours if they could place a poster in their window. Everyone smiled and said, “What a wonderful idea!“
